New Ways
2000
Venue: Cosmos factory, Bratislava (SK)

We can understand the work "New Ways" as a response to the currently often publicized problem of finding ways out of the labyrinth in which civilization has found itself today. Searching for new ways, charting the direction to new goals and, on the other hand, often frustrating sobering up at the end of the corridor, where instead of continuing on the marked path, a dead end awaits us.

However, new solutions (or those who stand in the background and "manage the traffic") convince us that the new generation and we as part of it have unlimited abilities, everyone can be chosen, each of us learns from the media that we can start a new path and he gets to the goal with his clues. Road markings, a longitudinal dashed line winds cyclically along the space, passing through the floor, walls and ceiling.

This creates an imaginary path leading nowhere. The title "New Ways" thus becomes just an ironic-sounding cliché, and in reality we only see a cold-looking factory space, (which has lost its original meaning and thus its search and failure to find a new identity only reinforces the project's idea of new paths...) and the lines that here they have lost their original purpose, they are just a tool in the hands of the author, who seems to convince us that he has found a new way out, a new path...
