Meeting the Picture is a photo record of a one-day action.
I stretched and primed a canvas on a blind frame. With my “pre-painting” thus prepared, I went off to encounters with
the gallery setting and the institutional background of cultural
practice. Gradually I “acquainted” my pre-work with the gallery, the hung works, the process of installing an exhibition, the curator, the art historian, and the atmosphere of the exhibition opening.
