What we are looking at is a fragment of stucco decoration from the ceiling. Lines that copy the elegant shape of the lines on the walls and continue into the space.
Alone in space, they draw attention to themselves, to their morphology, and at the same time lead us to perceive the rhythm of the lines above our heads.
